Acne products are prepared in different ways using different bases, because different products tend to work better for different people. However, you are not only looking after your skin health, but the health of your precious newborn to come! In my opinion, the only acne during pregnancy safe treatment is one that is all natural.

So here are three tips and some safe treatments for acne to ensure that your skin gets better, and your baby does not suffer as a result.

1. Do not use acne medications that require you to ingest any chemicals. Foreign chemicals in the body is always a risk, and this is magnified when you are pregnant. Avoid any chemicals that have a bitter taste, because this is a physiological response that could mean the ingredient could be harmful to your body. Bottom line is anything that might harm you could harm your baby.

2. Some people advocate exposure to sunlight to cure acnacne during pregnancy safe treatmente. I don’t know where this myth came from, but to my knowledge there is no scientific evidence to prove it. In addition, is curing acne really worth the possibility of skin cancer? I don’t think so. Please avoid sunlight in your quest for acne cures.

3. It is OK to use most formulas such as basic soaps. These after all are some of the best cures for acne anyways. The only thing is that you want to take care not to ingest any of these soaps in anyway. That sounds borderline stupid for me to say that, but this can lead to poisoning your system which could lead to some negative affects for your baby.

There are some methods out there for acne during pregnancy safe treatment. The only problem is that many of these methods are very expensive. I have a friend who suffered from acne while she was pregnant, and we did a lot of searching in this area. It led me to a few products that I felt were safe for women to use for acne treatment while pregnant.
